Over the summer I spent about a month on the island of Oahu in Hawaii for work. It has been over 10 years since the last time I visited Hawaii. There was a heavy load of work ahead of us with just a few days off. Luckily during this time, some family was also visiting so I was able to escape and do some fun activities. We went swimming with sharks, snorkeling and enjoyed some of the tastier foods available. There was also a fun 4th of July show right in the back of where we were staying. Any moment we were not working was spent in the ocean, I could not get enough of the warm water.
It was a hectic, long work trip. Feeling the aloha spirit from the locals and not being able to leave work much left me wanting to come back and explore more of what Hawaii has to offer. Small warning; many sunset pictures ahead, it is when I had most of my time off. Also, nothing quite like watching a sunset in Hawaii…
