Took a short work trip to Richmond, Virginia earlier this year. I was not sure what to expect during our stay except for the heat. We stayed in a nice centrally located hotel. It was nice to be able to walk around to the restaurants. A lot of the store fronts on the main streets seemed to not be touched for a long time, keeping a nice historical look to them. I was also surprised with all the great meals we are during our stay. It was nice to be able to go to a city with no expectations, and be very happy with the whole experience.
